Who we are: At Tiny Steps Physical Therapy, kindness, compassion and excellence for all children and their families is the foundation of our practice. We understand the overwhelming uncertainty that comes along with having a child with a medical complexity or a devastating injury and we will be there to support your family every Tiny Step of the way! We also believe that each milestone, no matter how small, is worth celebrating!
What we do: We treat neuro-developmental conditions and orthopaedic injuries from birth-5th grade. Common conditions seen include: Developmental Delay, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Epilepsy, surgical reconstructions and genetic conditions.
Meet the Owner: Dr. Shannon McAllister, PT, DPT has been a licensed Physical Therapist for 18 years. She has worked in many different settings including schools, outpatient clinics, hospital-based rehabilitation, in-home services and early intervention. Working with children with medical complexities and supporting a neuro-diverse population is her true passion in life. Her favorite part of therapy is watching children take their first steps; it never gets old! When she is not advocating for children, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, reading, doing yoga, and being a Girl Scout leader.
